How many students does Costa de Valencia, escuela de español have? And where do they come from? – New statistical data from 09/2015 to 08/2016
Knowing the meaning of the numbers is the most important thing when stating them. Here, some aspects cannot be disregarded. For example, we have students from Italy who take a one week course; meanwhile there are students from Japan who stay for a whole year. Some pupils prefer private lessons, others book 36 weeks of intensive course, furthermore there are students who want to prepare for an exam, therefore reserving a specific course. The motives of the various residences may differ from one another but in the statistics they appear without differences and as the same. A number arises which does not justify the real details.
The origin of the students can never certainly be expressed in numbers. However, some tendencies can also be determined, for instance in the Nordic countries and South Korea: here the Spanish language spreads more and more, also Valencia becomes a more popular destination. But also this trend has to be treated with caution since changes can occur depending on the seasons.
