SIELE - INTERNATIONAL EVALUATION SERVICE OF THE SPANISH LANGUAGE

What is SIELE?

SIELE is the International Evaluation Service of the Spanish Language, which certifies the level of mastery of the Spanish language through electronic media and it is aimed at students and professionals from all five continents.

SIELE has international recognition and is supported by the Instituto Cervantes. Quality standards and recommended methods in the preparation of tests and the use of different language variants of the Hispanic world are guaranteed.

It is an ideal option for those who need a quick accreditation for admission to a university or application for a new job.

Costa de Valencia Spanish School is one of the SIELE's authorized examination centers where candidates can have their Spanish language skills recognized before academic institutions, companies or public administrations (whether they have the Spanish as a foreign language, a second language or a mother tongue).

SIELE certifies the level of competence in the Spanish language through four tests: Reading comprehension, listening comprehension, written expression and interaction, and oral expression and interaction; and refers to the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) of the Council of Europe.

Differences between DELE and SIELE

DELE: Diploma of Spanish language proficiency at one level of the CEFR (A1-C2).

SIELE: Certificate of knowledge of Spanish on a scale of points corresponding to the A1-C1 level.

Examination or test

The candidate may take the full examination or a test. The complete exam has a fixed and predefined sequence of tests (CL, CA, EIE, EIO) with a duration of 3 hours and an additional break of 15 minutes.

Where and when does the exam take place?

Costa de Valencia, Spanish School, is an authorized SIELE center. You can take the SIELE test at our facilities at Av. Blasco Ibáñez, 66, 46021 Valencia. Our experience in organizing official Spanish exams guarantees the quality of the SIELE tests.

The results

Within a maximum of three weeks, candidates will receive an e-mail informing them that their qualifications are already available on the SIELE platform.
