The night of San Juan
Thousands of bonfires light up the sky during the night of San Juan and together with the water the fire conjures a magical night where joy and superstition are one.
Every year, on June 23rd at midnight various rituals are performed to conjure the magical energies of the night of San Juan.
Jumping over a burning bonfire or going into the sea and jump over the waves are just two legends which are supposed to make wishes come true.
