There is a very typical tradition in the Valencian festivals: a paella cooking competition. Groups of friends, whole families or clubs get together to cook a paella and see which one is the most delicious. We are going to Benicassim to participate in this traditional Paella Day. The main streets of the village will be crowded with neighbours and visitors who make and eat their own paella. The last edition counted more than 800 paellas. This event combines tradition, gastronomy, party and popular participation.
