This course is designed to no-native Spanish professors who practice their professions outside of Spanish-speaking countries.
The course is divided into theoretical-practical morning workshops, which are thaught by titular professors of our center with more than 10 years of experience in the field of E/LE teaching. The contents are, among others, teaching grammar and its problematic aspects in teaching foreigns, strategies to encourage conversation or the treatment of the cultural component.
During the afternoon sessions there will also be different workshops and socio-cultural visits aimed at learning first hand the Spanish socio-cultural reality that will serve to reflect how these aspects impact on teaching practice.
The dates of Teacher Training Course E/LE (no nativos) in 2017 will take place on:
From the 3rd to the 7th of April
The course can also be offered on other dates in the case that a group of three people or more is interested in doing it in another period
Morning workshops: from 09.30 to 14.00
Workshops, visitis and conferences: from 16.00 to 18.00
There is a minimum of 3 participants per edition and a maximum fo 15.
Foreign participants must have a working knowledge of Spanish. At least level B2 is required for proper use of the course.
Attendance is compulsory and any absences, regardless of their cause, must not exceed 10% of the total time.
Students will receive a certificate of accreditation for their participation in the course with the total amount of the hours completed (35 hours).
The amount of the registration fee is 365€
If the registrations do not reach the number of participants, the course can be canceled. In that case the full amount of the registration fee will be refunded.
