Trip to La Peña Cortada

Date of the event:
Saturday, 14, December 2019

Chelva is one of the most beautiful villages in Valencia. It is surrounded by nature, and from here it is possible to follow two hiking routes: the route of the Peña Cortada Aqueduct and the Water Route.

The main hiking route is the Roman Aqueduct of Peña Cortada, currently declared an Asset of Cultural Interest. The fact that you can walk along a viaduct and pass over a Roman aqueduct is not a common practice.

The Peña Cortada is about 50 metres long, 25 metres high and 2 metres wide. Crossing it is a really impressive experience.

If you like hiking, this is the ideal activity for you!
