Our school offer all levels corresponding to the Common European Framework of Reference for languages (CEFR): A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2

However intermediate levels exist to ensure small, homogenous groups.  Every week start new courses of each level listed above. Therefore Spanish language students can join in a course that exactly matches to their level.

After absolving this level participants are able to, for example, conduct a conversation about an unknown topic, to file a complaint, to talk spontaneously in an all-day situation and to be up to ask for some explanation in case of disaccord.

The students who want to improve their oral and written expression should join this level. This includes analysis of texts, different exercises, various activities intended to review and revise the student, for example, the most difficult tenses, which are aimed at the more difficult conjugations, especially the use of the subjunctive. Besides common mistakes will be correct and ability will be acquired to talk fluently about known (or unknown) topics in special fields and the student’s field of interest.

It is aimed to students who manage the Spanish language but who need a deeper knowledge of idiomatic expressions and also the acquisition of different nuances and finer points of language. Subordinated structures and mode selection will be treated by means of texts slightly adapted. Discussions about current affairs taken from national press and reading of literary works benefit the discovery of culture. Topics such as politics, society or the environment, which may result of more difficulty for the students, begin to be dealt with.

This level is designed to consolidate grammatical structures already studied, so that through study, comprehension and recognition of those structures that, due to their frequent use, become necessary for any student studying our language are mastered. The texts typologies used cover all the modes and levels of language and the oral practice centres on a variety of themes, different speakers and contexts.

This level is designed to strengthen, deepen and set fixed all structures, as much spoken as written that the student has accumulated during their study of the Spanish language. This level is also designed to ensure correct use of expressions, varieties of language and specific vocabulary that the student may need. The learning of vocabulary is achieved quickly and steadily through all types of text and activities which put the lexical knowledge and ability of the student to the test.

This is the highest level of the Intensive Courses. It demands a lot of effort and application on the part of the student. It deals with difficult aspects of Spanish even for Spanish speakers, for example the position of adjectives in prepositions, difficult cases of the subjunctive, acronyms and homonyms, rules of prepositions etc. Unaltered texts are employed to ensure the acquisition of new vocabulary and the understanding of genuine reading matter.
