Teacher Training Course E/LE

Those demanding practical courses are intended for future teachers of Spanish as foreign language (E/LE), professionals who would like to broaden their knowledge of teaching / learning Spanish as foreign language and others who would like to direct their education to the teaching of Spanish as foreign language. The courses also address students of philology in their last semesters and students who have finished their studies recently.

We offer three modes of this course addressing the different target groups.

Teacher Training Course E/LE

This course is designed for participants who are wishing to expand their knowledge of teaching/learning Spanish as a foreign language and who want to take an intensive course of E/LE training in a week.

The course is divided into theoretical-practical morning workshops, which are taught by titular teachers of our center with more than 10 years of experience in the field of E/LE teaching. The contents are, among others, teaching grammar and its problematic aspects in teaching foreigners, strategies to encourage conversation or the treatment of the cultural component.

Every afternoon of the week the participants will attend to real lessons with a tutor and with him they will plann the sessions, choose the school material and design the last session that they will be in charge. 

This course is designed for participants who are wishing to expand their knowledge of teaching/learning Spanish as a foreign language and who want to take an intensive course of E/LE training in a week.

The contents are, among others, teaching grammar and its problematic aspects in teaching foreigners, strategies to encourage conversation or the treatment of the cultural component.

Every afternoon of the week the participants will attend to real lessons with a tutor and with him they will plann the sessions, choose the school material and design the last session that they will be in charge.

This course is designed to no-native Spanish professors who practice their professions outside of Spanish-speaking countries.

The course is divided into theoretical-practical morning workshops, which are thaught by titular professors of our center with more than 10 years of experience in the field of E/LE teaching. The contents are, among others, teaching grammar and its problematic aspects in teaching foreigns, strategies to encourage conversation or the treatment of the cultural component.

During the afternoon sessions there will also be different workshops and socio-cultural visits aimed at learning first hand the Spanish socio-cultural reality that will serve to reflect how these aspects impact on teaching practice.
