To assist and help the student to pass the University Accessing Official Exams for Foreign Students (UNEDassis).
This course is addressed to foreign students who have successfully finished the High School education in their home countries and are willing to study at university in Spain.
In our center, we offer assistance on the paperwork necessary for the registration in the exam as well as for obtaining the student visa, if needed. In the case of needing the student visa, once the student has paid the total amount of the course, we issue a certificate stating the name of the student, the course they have registered in, and the length of that course. This certificate is compulsory for obtaining the visa.
UNEDassis if the official exam for foreign students to access the Spanish university.
All non-EU students also need the homologation of their high school studies to the Spanish system. The official exam is made up of the assessment of Specific Competencies (PCE in Spanish) of 4 subjects: 2 generals, and 2 specifics, depending on the modality chosen.
These passed PCE’s will be considered by Universities in their admission procedures, in the cases in which university admissions are open and competitive processes.
The maximum mark for accessing university is 14 points:
In order to get the 14 maximum points, each university chooses 2 specific subjects to be taken in the PCE’s according the modality. The mark obtained in this subjects will be multiplied by 0,2. This way it is possible to increase the total grade into 2 points per subject.
The course starts in September and finishes the same week in which the official exam takes place. The approximate length is 9 months.
Once the course started, the student can join it only in the case their knowledge allows their incorporation and always under the Head Teacher consent.
The course consists of 20 hours per week -5 hours per subject weekly. In the case that there is a subject with less than 3 students in the group, the length of the lessons will be reduced. The official exams usually take place in the last week of May or the first of June.
Before the exam, the student has to register in the UNEDassis exam. The school offers a service of assistance and enrolment. Please check out prices of this service at the secretary desk of the school.
To be able to join the preparation course, it is necessary to have, at least, a B1 level of Spanish, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Costa de Valencia is a school of Spanish language accredited by the Instituto Cervantes. The students whose level of Spanish is under B1 should take an intensive course of Spanish until the necessary level is reached. These Spanish courses can be taken with us/in our school, as well. *
Still, it is recommendable to all students, even those with a level higher than B1, to take a course of Spanish whilst doing the preparation course for UNEDassis, in order to face the exam with the best guarantees.
Before starting the Spanish course, students must take a level test consisting of a written part (multiple choice questions plus a little essay) and an oral part. After its correction and a short conversation with one of our teachers, the student will be assigned to the adequate level.
This test is free of charge and always takes place outside the course schedules. It may be taken in the previous week, if the student is already in Valencia. If not, the test will take place the same day of the beginning of the course before the class starts (usually at 9 am).
The teaching materials (textbooks and supplementary worksheets) are carefully worked out, updated and improved by our teaching staff.
All teaching materials are included in the price of the course.
Apart from our courses, our Spanish language school also offer up to four extra-curricular activities per day. Participating in these activities allows students to get to know Valencia’s culture and people.
• Teaching materials (student’s books, workbooks, textbooks, photocopies, etc.) throughout the course.

• Level test, both written and spoken, before the beginning of the course.

• Final certificate of attendance with the number of hours studied, participation in activities, the level achieved and the contents covered.
