Valencia is the third largest city in Spain and has a lot to offer: natural parks and beaches, urban beaches, a beautiful historic center with old buildings and picturesque alleys or futuristic architecture in the "City of Arts and Sciences". Its Mediterranean climate is characterized by more than 300 days of sunshine a year, which brings life to the streets and parks, beaches and promenades.

At the same time, Valencia is not too big. All places of tourist interest can be easily reached by foot and public bicycles, as it is a completely flat city and very well connected by bike lanes. It is also easy to use the public transport network that has an extensive metro line, tram and buses.

Valencia stands out for its multifaceted culture and its mediterranean and cosmopolitan spirit. The various universities located in the city center give Valencia a young and international atmosphere. Large and small events of all kinds attract tourists from all over the world every year.

But also the surroundings of Valencia invite to half-day or full-day excursions. Nature,such as the Albufera Natural Park, or monuments and inland destinations, such as the Roman Aqueduct of Peña Cortada or the natural pools of Montanejos and other nearby places of interest. Excursions along the coast, such as hiking through the Cova Tallada in Jávea or the Calas de Portichol are always unforgettable activities. Have a look at our list of extracurricular activities..

Location and infrastructure

Costa de Valencia, escuela de español, is a school dedicated to teaching Spanish as a foreign language since 1995 with an exceptional location. It is located in the heart of the university district, between the historic center and the beach, close to numerous restaurants, cafes and entertainment establishments. From the school it is possible to reach any point of the city either on foot, by subway or by means of the numerous public bus stops.

We are an Accredited Center by the Instituto Cervantes and we guarantee a high quality in our teaching. The school has fully air-conditioned facilities and classrooms equipped with the most modern technology (audiovisual material, touch screens, etc.) to make learning the Spanish language more fun and efficient.

We have a magnificent team of professionals in each area of management (academic, administrative, accommodation and extracurricular activities). We have facilities prepared to accommodate several big groups in the same period and specialized and bilingual guides to accompany the students in all their adventures.

Accommodation for groups

The choice of accommodation is an important key to a successful study trip. We have an extensive network of host families in whom we have complete confidence after many years of experience. Although accommodation in host families is the preferred alternative for end-of-year trips in Valencia, we also offer different possibilities such as, for example, accommodation in university residences close to the school (which allow the group to stay together) or accommodation in lodges,at a more economical price. Of course, it is also possible to stay in hostels and hotels.

Regarding the boarding regime, it is possible to stay in breakfast only, half board or full board. We also attend to special dietary needs, when the request is notified in advance.

If the accommodation is with a family, we recommend that two or three students stay with the same family. If a change of family is requested, we will try to do so within 24 hours.

In all cases, a 24-hour emergency telephone number will be provided.

Transfer service

Another of the services we can offer to school groups is the possibility of pick up and transfer to the chosen accommodation in a bus booked exclusively for them. This type of pick up and transfer is possible at Valencia's airport as well as at other airports such as Alicante, Madrid and Barcelona.

Other services

Bonobús: to move around Valencia by metro or bus, the most interesting option is to buy a bonobús with at least 10 trips for each participant during the language stay..

Tarjeta Twin: if the group wants to move around the city only by metro.

Valenbici: public bicycle rental individually and per hours. Credit card required.

Meaningful learning outside the classroom is a fundamental part of a school trip. We help to develop an extracurricular program according to the students' interests and field of study.

Before arrival, it is possible to agree on the activities that best fit the interests and needs of the students and to customize an enjoyable, dynamic and didactic program.
