Entry Bulls and Horses, Segorbe
The fiesta par excellence in Segorbe is the so-called Entrada de Toros y Caballos de Segorbe, whose documented origins date back to the 14th century, a fiesta that still retains all the tradition that its creators imposed.
In particular, ever-present is the emotion involved in this magnificent spectacle, during which a herd of bulls is enveloped and driven down the main street by a dozen brave jockeys.
This impressive festival is celebrated in the second week of September, from Monday to Sunday and at 2 p.m., with a multitude of witnesses forming a wall along the length and breadth of the route, making the city the capital of Alto Palancia, increasingly visited by tourists and bull fans.
